Dr. Kevin A. Schug is an internationally-recognized and award-winning analytical chemist. He has extensive experience in the development, validation, and application of chemical analysis testing methods, in a wide range of fields of research, including forensic, food/flavor/fragrance, biological, pharmaceutical, environmental, energy/fuels, clinical, and natural products chemistry. He specializes in the use of different chromatographic separation techniques, as well as in the use of mass spectrometry and spectroscopy for trace and ultra-trace qualitative and quantitative determinations of chemical compounds from complex mixtures. Dr. Schug has served as an expert in numerous forensics (blood alcohol determinations, cannabis/hemp, drugs of abuse, method validation), chemical manufacture (intellectual property), environmental (oilfield waste, recycling, and contamination), and patent law (patent interference) cases.
Zacariah L. Hildenbrand, Ph.D
Zacariah L. Hildenbrand is a partner of Medusa Analytical, sits on the scientific advisory board of the Collaborative Laboratories for Environmental Analysis and Remediation (CLEAR), is a director of the Curtis Mathes Corporation (OTC:TLED), and is a Research Professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Hildenbrand’s research has produced more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Hildenbrand is regarded as an expert in point source attribution and has participated in some of the highest profile oil and gas contamination cases across the United States. Dr. Hildenbrand has also consulted several private sector clients on various water treatment and hydrocarbon capturing technologies.
